This was my first experience with a Microsoft product, and it has been a great choice! It is super fast, and so far I have kept it in the 'S' mode to keep it running fast and secure. I recommend this product for people who prefer a smaller laptop for general personal use.

While I typically have a desktop for work, I had to use this for about a week instead, and it did the job phenomenally. I was running multiple browsers, word documents, and a virtual meeting at the same time and didn't experience hiccups on any side. Plus the camera is nice and clear. I am pleasantly surprised and very satisfied.

It does what I need to do for work really well and then some. For the price, you cannot go wrong. What made it even more attractive for me, it’s a Microsoft product which comes ZERO bloat-ware. For those of you who’ve owed Dell’s, HP’s, and Acer products, you know what I mean when I say “bloat-ware”. Nothing beats a clean stock Windows OS install. This is my 3rd Surface product and I probably won’t go back to the big PC names ever. The exterior has a nice premium feel, the screen resolution is sharp/crisp, the keyboard is responsive (more on than that in a sec), sound quality is better than most premium laptops/tablets, and nothing too exciting to report on the track pad. For those of you who game on Xbox and have GamePass Ultimate, this laptop will stream those GamePass titles with ease. No downloading required. Just connect your Xbox controller via Bluetooth, fire up the GamePass (Xcloud) site on a browser, and game to your heart’s content. The reason why this is not a 5 star laptop is the keyboard. The keyboard does NOT light up like the Surface Pro and the Surface Book. I know that’s a weird reason to not give it 5 stars, but we’re talking about a $500+ PC laptop here. Microsoft, PLEASE add a few LED lights under the keyboard so I can type in the dark! lol If you’re in the market for a compact, affordable, easy to use, stylish laptop, and can live without the backlit keyboard, then look no further.
