For the price, I knew that this laptop would not perform at the level of my larger, more expensive computer. However, I never expected it to operate so slowly that it was almost impossible for me to even load a few files without aggravation and wasting a lot of time. In all fairness, the problem may have arisen because I immediately opted to switch out of S-mode, as I did not want to be restricted to only installing apps from the Microsoft Store. I also need to note that after I fully charged the battery, it depleted within 4 hours. I don't know if my computer happened to be a lemon or if the lower-end models can only operate effectively in S mode. The problem is that once S mode is selected, you cannot reverse the decision. So I plan to return the laptop and do not recommend Microsoft brand computers if you plan to opt out of S mode. .
