I went to buy a computer for my grand child going to College. After asking my grand daughter what she was going to use it for, the Salesperson explained which computers would be best for her needs. Even though it cost more then I expected to spend, I felt comfortable with the purchase. The computer has worked great and it didn’t take long for my grand daughter to learn how to operate it.

I loved this laptop, until I had it for 6 months and the battery expanded so much it bent my entire screen. Microsoft wouldn’t fix it. I would have to pay out of pocket, which was more than the laptop itself.

Looked as if it did not have fans. Then I discovered it did, but it seems to suck air through the keyboard. Nifty. I start up the device. Log into my Onedrive/Microsoft account. Download Firefox. Device then updates. I restart the device and open nothing but Firefox - nothing else was installed by myself. I proceed to YouTube to test the picture quality and sound. Picture and sound was good. The keyboard and track-pad are solid. However, the fans kicked on, and while they were not loud, they had an annoying high'ish pitch. Then the one task I had the device performing (a YouTube webpage), began to lag noticeably. Touch scrolling was useless. Just an aweful experience. I reset the PC and returned it. My last device had the same CPU, amount of ram/speed of ram, and same speed of storage - but was a ChromeOS device, and it ran 100% smoother and quieter, no matter what the task (even running apps in the Linux virtual machine). Stay clear of this device. For the specs it is overpriced - in comparison to competitors. What you get in return is a very sleek and well-built chassis. What you pay for the good looks and physical feel of the device is thermal issues that gimp the usefulness of said product

Very portable, light , great for work on the go. This is it if you are looking for portability.

Bought this laptop a little over a year ago. Suddenly some of the keys stopped working, went through trouble shooting with microsoft and nothing has worked. Unfortunatly the warranty is only one year and being just outside of that, it cannot be replaced . Took to a repair shop and the cost to repair would be close to the cost of the computer. This seems to be some sort of hardware issue. I had a mac book that lasted 7 years so I'll probably be going back to that. Sometimes, you get what you pay for or I'm just one of the unlucky few with this.

Purchased 5/23 by 7/16 the laptop was not functioning. Used twice before leaving country when I returned, I continuously get a black screen with the logo. Laptop has been charging for days, attempted to do manual reset & the laptop still will not power on properly.SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I love the serface laptops but the go is just to small to downlowd any games or the office to work on documents
