No on/off on mouse and battery pack cover is magnetic rather than screw which is a nice touch. Mouse is responsive and buttons feel great. My only gripe is that I would really have enjoyed a rechargeable version of this via USB rather than the old school double AA battery reliance.

Goes great with my 2 in 1 and packs away easily. But I wouldn’t want to use it for long periods or anything intensive. Nice quality and good looking.

The issue was that when typing on the Surface Type Cover, I would rest my palms on the trackpad and the cursor would go flying. After connecting the Surface Mouse, the mouse would assume the primary pointing duties and the cursor would stay put. Problem solved. It seems a capable-enough mouse and is compact so it easily packs with the rest of the system for travel. It connects via Bluetooth and has an on/off switch to save the battery.

It is low profile and I will keep it to use on my smaller and more portable devices. However, it is not very comfortalbe. The scroll wheel feels cheap. The rest feels nice. The magnetic slider for the battery compartment on the bottom is nice.
