It would say it's "connected" but it didn't work at all. So it's going back. I wrote this review to maybe save someone a little aggravation.

I was supposed to receive one that charged and didnt run off batteries, but received this instead. Order still hasnt been fixed by Best Buy nor have I gotten a response, hence the 3* revuew.

Nice and sleek BUT a little laggy for my MacBook Air with choppy scrolling. I took a chance buying for an iOS so it seems I’m missing out on some features and not as seamless as I expect it would be with a Surface but I like overall and would repurchase.

It's not the batteries, we use new batteries. It wont work for a couple of minutes, then start working again. Then stop at some point. We'll be in the middle of looking for something online and the mouse will just stop working. It is the worst mouse we have ever bought. And, it's not old, we've only had it since maybe April. Very disappointed with it's poor reliability.

It is too small for my hand and actually caused a bit of hand pain trying to get used to it (which I couldn't do). I cut my losses and bought a wireless USB mouse that fits my hand much better.
