Set up is not straitforward, as it is with Apple's blue tooth mouse. There is an issue with the Apple blue to mouse. The Apple MacBook mouse set up options do not all suppressing side to side motion moving the screen side to side that had me pursue the Microsoft Surfce Mobile Mouse.

Her laptop did not have bluetooth built in (what?!?).. This mouse was sleek and fit easily in her hand, but unfortunately we had to take it back as there was not a bluetooth adapter included.

Connections issues at first

After a few days it finally kept the connection and is always hooked up to my laptop. It also doesn't require one of those small USB things to plug into the side of your laptop - it's a bluetooth connection.

Windows Laptop, Chromebook, Android Phone... Tracking is smooth on all devices...Mouse click is a bit loud, but not terrible.

But it's slim, comfortable to hold and doesn't take up the usb slot.

It is a bit small, low profile, for my hands when compared to my MX Master 25, but it is "mobile" mouse and it is designed to be compact for portability. Easily pairs with my surface.

The Surface mobile is an excellent compromise, and much more comfortable -- not as nice as a full size, but good for what it is.
