I've actually dropped it several times when I've been moving my Surface from room to room and it still works perfectly. I've left it on for days and battery is still good. So worth it!

Connected well to my desktop and kept its connection. The mouse wheel which I use quite often to scroll pages, started to play up within 6 months. It’s not dirty, but wore out. It still scrolls but now jumps.

Very responsive, fits the hand well, but chews through batteries pretty quickly. A rechargeable option would be better. Recommended if you need it to stay within the Microsoft hierarchy. If it doesn't have to be Microsoft there are a thousand better mice available.

Great simple mouse for quick tasks on my macbook or windows device. I just have to keep repairing the mouse which I switch from one device to the other. Haven't figured out if it's possible to have it paired to two devices at once.

Never loses pairing, is very responsive, and is perfect for everything I do.

But it doesn't have an on/off switch, which annoys me since the last wireless mouse I had did and last 5 years without a battery replacement. It also doesn't have a Back or Windows button near the thumb like the Surface Sculpt Comfort Mouse does for a similar price. Overall, decent mouse, but nothing special.

Thanks for the review! Surface Mobile Mouse has a button on the bottom that can be used to turn off your mouse with a quick press, and pair with your device with a long press. This should help with the battery life of your Surface Mobile Mouse.

I have not noticed any problems at all. Works with Windows and Chromebook. Best part is no dongle to carry.
