The pen is smooth and the digital ink glides across the screen without any noticeable delay and an impressive level of sensitivity! The surface settings also allow you to adjust the pen’s shortcut buttons and sensitivity settings. I can’t say whether it makes a difference on previous surface models, but using this on the Surface Book 2 is excellent for graphic design, writing and anything else one might use a stylus for. I used my friend’s pen that she got with the surface 4 pro and although both pens look similar, this new model is a big improvement! I probably wouldn’t get it if I had a Surface Book 1 or anything before that because Microsoft reported that not all surface models support the updated sensitivity with this pen.

This pen works great! I needed a replacement for my pen that came with my HP Spectre and this one worked just wonderfully! Fully compatible and user friendly.

The surface pen makes completing work very easy when in the tablet mode. It is more on the expensive side but the quality is great so that is what you’re paying for.

Does the job. I prefer the weight of this to most other stylus or pens. Feels as high quality as the apple pencil 2. Useful for marking up documents.

Love using this for not taking and drawing sketches on the surface. It just works. A little pricey but worth it in my opinion. Highly recommend for students with a surface pro.

While the pen itself works great and feels like it's made well, it just seems a bit pricey for something like this. Should be maybe half the price for what it does. But hey, if you need one for your Surface that has a good feel and is quality made, go for it!

Could be a little slimmer or not need a quad A battery but its expected from a first get product so no biggie

Pen works well, does everything you'd expect. I wish the magnet held it a little better but it does fine enough. Haven't tried other brands but it tracks well and feels sleek.

This pen is remarkable! I love that I am able to rest my hand on the surface and use this like a normal pen. The top button has customizable short cuts which is awesome!

Love this tool. Responsive. Easy to sign and block confidential data when editing. Makes note taking super easy. The Bright color makes it easy to find.

Works great with my surface book 3. Attaches magnetically as well. Perfect for drawing, sketching or using for any other need. Love the color too.

This is an amazing pen that works better than ANY other pen I've used. I've used a stylus with a rubber tip, other bluetooth pens, etc. — but nothing is as good as this pen. And it snaps to the surface go so easily. Highly recommended. The only negative is that the tips don't last forever. Easy solution: buy some extra tips from Bestbuy or amazon. They're easy to change out and it's like having a fresh pen. Battery lasts a long time. Great purchase!!

I really enjoy using the pen with my surface book 2. Everything is smooth and works very well. This pen feels good being held in my hand, and easy to use features with windows 10 pro.

This pen has a nice feel to it and works well with my surface pro. I like how it magnetically sticks to the surface. Only thing is that it uses AAAA (4A's) batteries. Can't find those at Target, only Best buy stores. Wish it was a rechargeable battery like the apple pen.

Love this pen! I switched from iPad and feel in love. Although Apple wasn't bad Surface has them beat, in my opinion. This surface can do so much more and the pen is specifically designed for this! From the Microsoft edge applications to the whiteboard and then the ability to erase as though it is an actual pencil! Found this out on accident and was blown away! I didn't even know I could do that because I was trained from an Apple Pen that this was not possible. Writing to integration is easy and accurate. No issues thus far.

I primarily use my Surface Pro with Creative Cloud suite and I could not imagine a better combo than this pen, the Surface & Illustrator or Photoshop or Indesign. Crazy good together.

Like this pen very much. Very functional and comfortabl to hold. Good writing touch. Sometimes the switch on it doesn't appear to work, but that may be my not using it correctly.
