Didn't end up using this pen. Returned the surface because I couldn't get used to it not being an Apple.

I absolutely love this Surface pen!! It's amazing!

I've gotten really dependent on the surface pen, as I really like manuel writing. I also use it for normal screen scrolling and toggling. Only downside is that it has a difficult time toggling on very small areas--sometimes it will not X out on a webpage and I have to use my keyboard mouse to close the tab.

had purchased a pen a month before purchasing this black one. the silver i purchased quick working within a month, so i thought it was the battery and replaced it but still same problem, not able to use on my surface. so i took it back and purchased a new one and had the same problem with it as well. Also do not like how it is does not attach well to the surface. can easily be hit and knocked off. they are too expensive to keep losing.

Worked fine for a couple of weeks. Changed the battery and still nothing.

Nice for what it is intended for. Shortcuts with the top button are easy to use.

I thought it would be a good product because it's the same brand and it's somewhat spendy. The pen often lags or doesn't work at all. Barely ever stays attached to the surface pro with the magnet. Often lose track of the pen because it falls off the laptop.

Works ok on screen but expensive. I don't recommend to a friend.

Apple Pencil is a quality device, but being stuck with iOS can be very limiting. This pen is easily as good for tracking a feel, plus it adds buttons, relieving the need to reach all over the screen for back buttons and such.

I didn't even have my Surface Pro 7 bundle for a WEEK the first time the pen started fritzing. Updates were available on my Surface, so i did them hoping that would solve the problem. It did NOT. My surface ended up not turning back on AT ALL and I had to get a new one. My original pen worked, but only for once again for about 5 days. I take it to Geek Squad, they run their tests and find out the programming inside the pen was faulty. I got it exchanged. The 2nd pen I got once again went out, in about a week or less. THIS time around they said there was nothing THEY could do except give me their PartStore # and have them mail me a THIRD pen. I'm still waiting for that pen to be shipped to me. It has been a week. They said 9-12 days because it was out of stock. Go figure. WORST LUCK EVER with this device. I would give it less than 1 star if it was possible. Hopefully, this THIRD pen works or else I'm storming back into Best Buy and demanding my $70 back! Shouldn't have to spend this kind of money on something that doesn't work for more than a week...

The pen is very useful for selecting and drawing! Takes some getting used to but def worth it!

I thought that the Microsoft Pen would work like an Apple Pencil but it only works on select applications.

Pen is not as user friendly as one would expect. It takes more time than I anticipated.

Although the pen didnt work with my laptop, i can still talk about the build quality. Both the buttons are very stiff and nice to use. The overall feel of the pen was great!

It is a ok pen, as a artist I wish they had more options to go with my surface pro!

Watched a lot of videos when trying to determine if I was better off getting a Bamboo pen or spend the extra money on the branded surface pen. After using it myself, I'd recommend it for sure. It detects thr pressure youre using better than the bamboo does. If you have a surface, this is a must.
