The pen does me no good key is difficult to use w/

After reading countless reviews, and jumping through a number of hoops to get the Surface Pen for a steal. I decided to take the chance that it would work on at least one of my devices. HP Envy 2/1, IPhone 6, Android Tablet. Well no such luck kids. This stuck up little stylus is committed to one and only one. And that one is the Surface Pro. I piddled around and waited too long to return the item. So I guess the only good thing about this is that I only paid about half price for the stylus to begin with.

My pen worked great to begin with. But now I cannot get it to work at all. Tried all things toncorrect this. Will keep trying to get it to work.

Product would not turn on to pair to my Surface. Taking back to Best Buy today for replacement.

Got this to add to my work Surface. Had problems connecting. Will return and ask my IT department at work to help out.

Stopped working. Changed batteries changed tips. Took to Geek squad. Nope doesn't work.

Surface pro pen stopped working after 5 months. Seems like MS product quality is going down hill fast. Last 3 MS items that I have purchased have all been worthless. I need to try Apple. I have not heard any problems with their products. If I could have given zero stars I would have. BY BY MS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this pen to replace one that quit working. The new one worked for a month and it quit. Expensive pen and does not work. Very disappointed. Battery is good and changed point but still does not work. Will not waste money on another.

The pen said it worked for Surface Pro and I had lost mine somewhere. S--so my original Surface Pro needed a pen. I looked at the ones availables and descriptions; this pen said it would work. It does not work on the original Surface Pro.

Bought it together with sp4. Doesnt work. Manual does not hve clear instructions. Check the batteries and all but to no avail. Had to return. Poor product

When I purchased this product, i could tell it was a used product, and not new. I returned it immediately.

I purchased this stylus in store around Christmas 2015. I used this pen as an upgrade for my Surface Pro 3, and at first, it worked like a charm. I loved the various stylus tips and the fact that it had the eraser on top of the stylus. The first problem I noticed was that the battery holder has a very hard release latch, as in it feels like you're breaking it every time you try to remove or replace the battery (this comes up later). The next problems I began noticing when I went back to school, around mid-January 2016. For no reason at all, the pen will begin writing without touching the screen, which makes trying to write with any amount of precision impossible. Another problem I had was that the pen would disconnect from the Surface without any warning. As of recent the pen tip will not interact with the screen while the eraser still functions (or vice versa), and of course these problems only come up in the middle of a lecture. Following the instructions of Microsoft, I tried removing the battery to fix this problem, but, since the battery release is so difficult to open, I snapped it right off. While I do understand that this is entirely my fault, it ultimately comes down to the fact that I wouldn't have needed to do this, had the pen functioned properly in the first place. Perhaps this is a one-off incident, as I have a friend with a Surface Pro 3 who uses the Pro 4 stylus with no problems, but it was still a waste of $50. PROS: -Works great most of the time, but (in my case at least) would stop working at the most inconvenient times. -New stylus tips are very useful. -Pen-top eraser. -Overall much better feel than the Pro 3 pen. CONS: -Poor battery latch design can be easily broken, rendering the pen completely useless. -Many technical glitches that can be difficult to fix.

I didn't enjoy the pen. Struggled how to turn it on, no directions

This is the best surface pen. Writing is smooth and accurate and the eraser on the top makes a lot more sense than the button on the bottom in the previous generation. Microsoft for the win.
