There are some apps which the keyboard works well. The Surface pen however has been an amazing addition as its come in handy with presentations and taking immediate notes with one click. If you own a Surface with a Keyboard, this pen will allow you to switch back and forth in a blink of an eye. For me its a must have.

I also use a mouse at times, however as a tablet, this is a better fit. I like the magnet to attach to tablet versus my first Surface Pro that fit into the charging dock. Made it easier to misplace pen if I was charging.

Surface Pen for HP Use

This actually works really well. It is fluid and doest make a lot of noise against the glass of the computer.

I have only played around with it on whiteboard so far. I think with the right app or program, it will be amazing to use. it is Bluetooth enabled, so no need for a dongle that inevitably gets lost or misplaced.
