Just what I wanted, works well with my tablet and computer.

This replacement is too expensive. Microsoft should drop the price to about $30.00. But then again, the purpose of any business is to make the customer part with as much of his money as possible. If you lose a pen, you don't have a choice. Just guard your pen with your life. The YES below is because there is no alternative. Sorry.

Great pen. The response and precision is so good, it’s like using a pen. When I purchase the SB2 I was concerned I wouldn’t use the feature. It’s a work tool, not something to draw/paint with. But, I have to say that I use it more than I thought I would. Always connected, always on. It just works!

It works very well but it's insanely overpriced for what it is.

Excellent response with the screen. Setting it up was instantaneously. Happy with the purchase and would say was worth exactly what I paid for.

A must have with the surface pro. Don't leave home without it.

The pen feels very natural and responsive. It is a great accessory for the Surface tablet.

Bought this alongside a Surface Pro. It works great for my purposes, both as a writing and drawing stylus as well as just a touch device for clicking and dragging. The built-in magnets keep it attached to the side of my Surface Pro when not in use and it's always right at hand.

The surface pen doesn't disappoint. The pen is a breeze to use and has a nice weight. It is magnetic and sticks to the top of my Surface Laptop. Very easy to write with and fun to use.

When I want to jot down my thoughts in free write mode, this is really helpful. I can carry it around without any fuss. The only drawback is the battery - there is no way to switch off the pen when you are not using it, so it is a waste of battery. If you are planning to use the surface with the keyboard, my suggestion is to avoid purchasing this.

Last time I tried a tablet pen it wasn't anything to write home about. No joke intended there. But seriously this thing has basically changed the way I take notes and do homework. Just wish it didn't take one of the least common batteries they could find.

I like it but the plastic one part near the tip broke easily

This is a nice accessory, I just need to learn all that it can do.

My hubby loves this pen. It is a bit pricey, but Microsoft stuff generally is. Hubby says the pen glides smoothly. If you have a Surface, you should have this pen. He uses the pen with OneNote as well as other programs. The magnet is also nice.

I have not used any other pens to be able to compare them to this pen. But this pen works really well. The soft tip feels great on the glass surface. Turning the pen sideways for shading works fairly well too.

It is pretty neat and allows you to do some neat stuff but is a little pricey.

I bought this when i bought the Surface because I thought it was necessary. I use it only occasionally because I prefer the keyboard, but it does the job. It should be included with the Surface.

this pens hold weel and write like it is supposed to on my surface book 2. however, there are additional function keys on the pen that has not worked since day one. you are supposed to have short cuts I believe but I have not been able to get those to work since pairing the pen to my device.

I have both the Microsoft Pen for Surface and Apple Pencil gen 1 for iPad. I prefer the Microsoft Pen. It feels more natural for note taking. I think the eraser tip is a fantastic feature, and I like that it has additional functionality as a button. Well done, Microsoft!
