I used to have the older stylist from the Surface Pro 3 and it worked good but not as good as this on the tip of this new one is a lot softer and much more sensitive to the screen then the older version was.

With all the different style pens out there...nothing can compete with the actual pen designed. Has magnetic capabilities...the touch on the screen is the best of all the pens I tried, connecting is automatic.

It easily attaches to the side of my surface and doesn't easily slip off. It's actually probably the best place to leave the pen or else you might forget where you put it.

pen works great, but there needs to be some more training and a few additional functions added to make it shine. Very hard to highlight things with it. Maybe it's just a learning curve for me...gonna have to watch some YouTube videos about it.

My son got a new Surface for school and wanted to be able to take hand written notes. Did some research and this is by far the best stylus for the Surface. My son said it works great and he is very pleased with this.

I love using this pen with my Surface Book 2. Haven't had any issues with connectivity or sensitivity on the screen. I like that it has extra buttons you can program to open up your frequently used apps.

It's a great product don't get me wrong, but it's way to pricy (and I got it on sale). It functions as it is expected to, but whether or not it's worth $60+ is definitely in question.

I really liked that this item is sleek and has great features, but most of all I love that the price is cheaper than competitors.

I love my computer so much but the pen really allows the user to experience a lot of the options that you would not normally see. Also a very good magnet to attach it to computer and haven’t lost it yet!

The pen opens up a whole new level of accessibility for using the MS surface books. The handwriting recognition is excellent ... it easily deciphers my crappy handwriting which is a mix of cursive and print.

Perfectly integrates with the Surface. This pen is an improvement to the pen I had with my Surface 3. No more pesky pairing issues! It should be included, I know, but it's still worth the dough. Recommended.

I’ve treid using other screen compatible pens and they just dont work the same as this one, largely because this is intended for surface laptops and not just a general screen pen

This is an essential tool for the Surface and should come with it. Ridiculous to have to pay for something you absolutely need to really unlock the full usefulness of the Surface Pro.

Bought this to take notes with on the Surface Go. Pen works as advertised and is amazing for note taking. Tip: Put the tip of the pen down before you allow the rest of your hand or arm to touch the surface.

Works with the surface but sometimes disconnects and does not complete the the process.

Great pen for use with my photo editing and for reports.

I don't regularly use pens much on tablets, but because of the little use I have given to this I liked the pressure points, the configuration of the options on the surface, I have no complaints about it.

Almost bought the bamboo pen, but an employee convinced me to get the surface pen because it was made specifically for the surface computers. I love it, feels almost like drawing on paper!

This is a must have if you own a Surface product. The only thing I wish Microsoft would do is include some sort of clipping mechanism for a shirt pocket or the organizer of a bag. It tends to slip around and the last thing you want is your expensive stylus getting crushed.
