Having the pen, I would not own a surface without it. You just have to get the pen and drive it around for a couple days to really see how the benefits are brought on to the surface.

Not sure if any other pen will work also but I can say this one does. It sticks to the side of the Book 2 and holds nicely so far.

This pen nly lasted me 11 months, and now no longer works. I would suggest buying a warranty or a different pen.

The pen doesn't have any grip for your fingers and feels like it going to slip out of your hand. The interaction with Win10 struggles at times, but it gets the job done. Unless you really need a pen, its not necessary for the Surface GO laptop.
