This pen is definitely better quality, fit and product feature for using it with the Surface. I had a different brand pen and it was OK but this pen is accurate, holds the battery life longer, does not disconnect and the included tips provide a variety of strokes on the screen. The magnet could be a little stronger to hold on a Surface 3 but still works very well.

This pen is great, I never really liked touching the screen plus this gives me extra functionality. Feels well built too, not like cheap apple stuff.

This pen adds several nice features to the surface pro and works great. Just wish the magnetic holder that attaches to the side of the surface was a little more 'robust'....easily falls off

This is a big improvement from the original pen. Being able to use different size tips for art is wonderful. The magnet is a nice feature, as well as the longer click button on the side.

A must have if you own a Microsoft Surface Pro product. I love the fact that the pen has 4 interchangeable stylus tips and multiple levels of pressure sensitivity. I was lucky to buy this pen for $20.00 less than list price by simply adding it in the cart with the purchase of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Black-Friday bundle promotion. Works like a charm!

This is a great upgrade on the pen for the Surface 3. I bought it to go with a 3 Pro and get the best of both worlds without having to buy a 4.

When I was looking at getting a pen for my Surface I was deciding between the new pen and the older model. The Microsoft guy at the Bestbuy store told me that unless you are going to a lot of drawing then you don't need the new one. So if you are going to be drawing a lot then get the new one and if not then save the money and get this one.

This stylus is easy to use; the set-up is simple. It's lightweight, precise, and sensitive.

The stylist pen allows for multiuse. You can choose to write or type. It makes certain things easier to accomplish than a mouse and keypad.

This stylus comes with a number of tips. 5 tips. But they don't seem to be much different. The feel is better than the previous stylus.

This is a great addition to the Microsoft Surface. Had my doubts at first, but I had yet to find any stylus out there I would call great.

I had the old style 2 button surface pen with my surface 3 and lost it for awhile. So I bought this one and then found my old one. However, this one is super nice and the 'eraser' on top is much more like writing then the button on the old pen. Also the pen tip is slightly soft on this one and I enjoy writing with it quite a bit more as well.
