I love the products best buy sells. The surface pen is a great upgrade

I somehow lost the Surface Pen that initially came with my Surface Pro 4 that I just bought maybe a month ago. I was leery of buying a new pen because I was afraid it didn't have the magnetic side to re-attach to my Surface Pro 4 (which is how I lost my pen, btw). After reading extensive reviews, I came across one buyer who said it did still have the magnetic bit. The bonus to buying this pen separately was that it came with additional tips, though I still haven't quite figured out how to interchange the tips on my pen, and I'm afraid to ruin my Surface Pen. Buyer be warned though: the magnetic side may SEEM strong enough to stay secure, but if you're walking from one place to another (like outside from one building to the next), I would STRONGLY advise taking the pen in a carrier or pouch or something. Do NOT attach it to the side of the Surface if you have a Surface Pro 4. Other than that, it's a great buy and works beautifully for my digital art and more!

My husband loves the Surface pen. He acted like he couldn't live without it! I am not sure if he is tough on these things or what but I cannot give it all five stars because we have already purchased two of these things and the tip has gotten broken. Also, they are not inexpensive.

Always worked great, although I never used any of the other pen tips.

I LOVE my Surface Pen. I never thought I needed a stylus type tool to surf the internet, but having the pen makes it so much easier! And it's especially great to be able to write things down on my SurfacePro as I remember them.

Purchased this pen in addition to a Surface Pro 3. The pen works just as expected and is perfect for school use. I use it in Word, PowerPoint, and Note, and it is great to bounce between programs while still being able to use it.

I love having the different tips. I only wish the "Tip Kit" would have been included with the Pen in the Surface Purchase. It is nice to have a 2nd one around since I have this awful habit of leaving the surface pen laying around.

Once paired with your Surface, provides precise lines.

I have used Samsung Note products for years like the new Note 5 phone and the Note Series of tablets. I loved the functionality of the S pen. Microsoft with the new and improved Surface Pen has finally caught up to and in some cases exceeded Samsung in Pen functionality. You can use it for note taking, creating documents instead typing, editing, highlighting and as a mouse replacement. Additionally, with the new Pen Microsoft has included additional tips that adjust how the Pen feels when using it from almost zero drag/resistance to a lot of drag/resistance depending on which tip you using. Also the end of the Pen acts as an eraser where with the old Pen you had to press a button on the Pen to use the eraser function. It pairs easily with the tablet and the new sensitivity is amazing.

Love all the graphics and artwork that can be done with this pen.

When a product does it's job, what else is there to say? Love it!

I bought this pen because the original Surface 3 pen is no longer made, and honestly, I couldn't be happier! It now has friction against the surface and comes with replacement nibs and feels 10x better than it's predecessor.

I think that this pen is overrated and especially overpriced.

I have a surface pro 3 and I love it, a very handy device. With the update of the pen it makes my device even better! The new pen is much more accurate and the additional tips for other writing/drawing options are handy too!

Tips are a bit much to deal with and think it should be integrated like the multi color pen.
