I find that with a bit of practice, I use this stylus like I use the finger on a smartphone but even much more. I love that I can push the earser end and open OneNote to start scribbling notes.

This pen is really great. It is a bit different to get used to coming from the older model. The button on the side for selecting items can get a bit tricky and that's why the 4 stars as opposed to 5. Otherwise everything is great about it.

The pen is so much better than the older version sold with the Surface 3 and older. This feels much more like a real pen. If you have an older Surface, you may want to consider upgrading the pen.

I was skeptical at first with drawing on tablets - have a ipad and couldn't get the detail that I wanted. Purchased a Surface and started doodling with the pen. Easy to use and create.

I got this for my Surface Pro 3 and it works great. Much better than the Surface Pro 3 pen which I had nothing but trouble with and ended up using a 3rd party pen until this new one came out.

Price matched Amazon and paid $10 less. Otherwise, it was purchased to replace a lost pen. Works great. Suggest you clip your pen to the keyboard (the flat part near the SP) when transporting.

The product is good and easy to use. The only done side is that they don't make that many of these. I have to drive an hour to get and without one, surface pro is just another tablet

After always finding myself searching among my black pens for my black Surface Pen, I went ahead and purchased one in blue. Now it's always easy to find! I take it everywhere with me.

I own a surface 3 and the pen that I had quit working. I bought this, paired it to the tablet and it solved my problem. Love being able to take digital notes and draw on the screen.

I wasn't expecting this pen to be so much better than the original. The writing is so smooth and I LOVE that the eraser is actually an eraser. You won't regret spending the extra bucks!

If you have any version other than the Surface Pro 4 and this pen is compatible, spend the money. Feels more natural, only 1 battery, and the eraser works like it should have all along.

The pen was easy to setup for use and worked great during presentations. We easily wrote on pdf, used it to take notes, and made drawings. We would definitely purchase this again.

Very useful and practical pen. My only issue is that it sometimes does not stay attached to the magnetic side of the surface. Other than that I have not had any problems with the pen and would recommend to other customers.

Overall the surface pen works like it's supposed to. The only problem I had on one occasion was that I wasn't able to access the apps while clicking the top of the pen. I had to pair the pen to the Surface again for it to work.

Expensive for a pen but has multiple features that make it very cool

I purchased this for a surface Pro three that was given to me. I wanted to try to edit photography. The pen takes a little time to adjust to but once you get use to it, it is great .

The Microsoft stylus brings the most out of the Surface in its tablet mode. It is a quick way to make notes on screen or highlight items to your audience. It's also handy to be able to use the Surface as a portable whiteboard.

This stylus works great. The original stylus's tip was bent and would work only 20% of the time. This replacement stylus has never missed a beat and works like it's supposed to.
