    This pen is great! However, I would not recommend it for any other Surface than the Studio b/c I have the Surface X and when I close my keyboard, the pen magnetizes to my screen instead of keeping on the keyboard as the Slim Pen would. Still a great pen, I just wouldn't get it with any other Surface than the Studio

    I struggled a lot while choosing a pen for my new Surface Pro. I considered a few generic ones approved by Microsoft but the reviews discouraged me and I am glad they did. I got this pen a bit cheaper than the usual price and it was worth every cent. If you are an artist or an avid note-taker, buy the Microsoft pen. The only drawback that I gope Microsoft fixes, is that it needs a battery.
