    If you have programs you draw with go for it. But for normal day to day logging on pdf files, it is more trouble than just typing it out.

    The Surface Pen is not for everyone. I myself use it a ton due to the fact I like to draw. I can see however how the pen would just be sitting attached to your computer all the time. The product isn't bad by any means. It is just not for everyone. You can definitely still use a Surface product without the need of a pen.
