I bought the Microsoft Surface Pen when I got the Surface Pro 7. The T.I.P. of the pen is a plastics substance of some sort and creates a drag on the screen but if you put a paper like mat screen protector on the surface pro it will chew through the pen’s tip pretty quickly forcing you to replace the tip. But it is very useful for writing. The lag is very minimal and it’s great for pointing and “clicking” on the screen.

This pen makes using my Surface Book 3 sooo fun to use! With a click of the button, I can open up Microsoft Whiteboard, Microsoft To-Do List, or StickyNotes to quickly write or draw something down. It is a great stylus as well! It magnetically attaches to the side of the computer for easy portability.

I love this pen. I used my surface for a while without it and thought it was good. Once I started using the pen and surface as it was designed, it became the most powerful device in my bag. I use it for work, games, and personal business. I couldn't imagine not having my surface anymore and the pen makes it what it is.

I have the previous model and really like this new one. The magnet is stronger so I sticks to the surface pro better. It doesn't have the clip on it so it doesn't get in the way. It does tend to hang up at times (might be the surface pro software). It's great for editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop which is why I went with the surface pro in the first place.

As many reviews said- I’ve got the Wacom and this one is much better. It tracks better, draws better, and seems to feel better. But.. it is just a pen. The price difference does matter which is why I only gave it 4 stars. But I got the color since it was discounted a little and I am happy with it.

I bought the open box option and it was as good as new, it is certainly worth it. This pen has made it so much easier to take notes, and it glides gracefully through the screen whenever I'm working on a design.

It does what its supposed to do and better than any others on the market. I got it on sale so it wasn't as steep of a price tag. That being said I'm not sure if it's worth the $100, but it also works significantly better than other pens on the surface book 2. Would I buy it again, yes. Would I pay the $100 for it...not sure.

The good is that this thing doesn't lose charge. As of this review I'm still on original batteries a year later. Integration with Windows computers is pretty good with one exception. The clicker doesn't seem to do anything meaningful. The pen tip and eraser are easy to figure out, but the click button doesn't really seem to be useful. I may be missing something but seems like that should be intuitive.

It’s a nice pen and registers well. The pen is also magnetic and sticks to the side of my surface pro 7 which is useful because i wont lose it. When using the whiteboard you can use the rounded part to erase like a pencil and clicking the top automatically opens the whiteboard app.

Very smooth. The buttons have zero lag....they respond instantly. Feels good in the hand. The top eraser is very convenient and can alternatively be used to click on things and swipe up and down. It’s also magnetized to you can stick it on metal surfaces. The only con is that you need to use a little pressure before the pen tip registers on the screen. Overall a great pen.

I had the Surface Pro 3 pen and instantly noticed the difference when I began writing with this pen. The SP3 pen felt a bit mechanical and unnatural. This pen though feels like a regular pen and my handwriting is much better represented with this pen compared to the SP3 one. I am not artistic but can imagine the difference this makes when drawing or painting.

Excellent Surface Book pen...very comparable in feel and functionality of an Apple 2 Pen, one thing different, I do love the eraser function on this and wish that Apple had the same. That being said, I wish this were rechargeable versus trying to find quad-aaaa batteries.

This pen is great. Easy to use and very smooth. The tip is very precise. The contour of it is very natural and I just love that it magnetically adheres to the surface almost anywhere. Now I don't have to worry about putting it down and it gets lost.
