Overall works fine, the video port on the Pro 3 drives my 4K TV as high def monitor. video port on dock will not drive at 4K I only can get 1080 from dock. Secondly, $199 is just too pricey, Sale price of $149 did get me to buy.

Easy to use sleek and looks ok on office desk too.

Dock help multi-tasking. Very easy to use!!!!!!!!!

Setup was a snap. I can now have my 24" TV monitor, my External Hard Drive, desktop keyboard and mouse and USB hub connected all at the same time. Works great! If I need to go I pull the Surface out and when I return put it back in the dock and all my peripherals connect and I am ready to go. Best buy from Best Buy!

Use this to basically make the Surface Pro 3 a workstation. Adds plenty of USB ports, monitor and charging. Only bad is the need to be careful to place it in the dock correctly.

My experience with the SP3 dock is much better than my experience(s) with the now-common USB 'block' type docks. I like the slick slide-in attachment, and that it tents your SP3 at a good viewable angle. Kind of disappointed that Microsoft is not extending this design to the dock for the Surface Pro 4. Haven't yet tried this dock with the Surface Pro 4, but I'm told it works with a small shim. I hope this is true.

This is one of my favorite portable docks, simple to use with all the ports I need to work throughout the day. Can't beat it for the surface, and can't beat a 4K output! Slides open and closed with ease.

This is a must have accessory (at least for me). Being able to dock the surface essentially allows me to use my surface as my desktop computer at home and my laptop and tablet on the go. It allows me to output to 2 displays to extend my desktop and I keep a hard drive plugged in for local media storage.

This dock really turned my surface into the tablet that could replace my laptop. When it's docked I have plenty of usb ports plus I have 2 mini display ports as well. Also it keeps my surface charged and allows me to keep my other surface charger in my bag for when I'm on the go. Really a great dock!

This was super easy to set up and offers the portability of a tablet with the experience of a computer (larger screen, wireless mouse and keyboard connected via the docking station to the tablet).

Its a nice docking station the only bummer is that you cannot move the Surface Pro around like you can with the kickstand. Not sure If I would completely recommend this product unless you need to connect additional monitors and have a hardwired connection to you home network.

It is great to have a dock but I really wish it had more then the single display out. Sure, you can also connect to the one built into the surface while it is docked but the entire point of a dock is to not have to fiddle with cables when you sit at your desk.

I have deployed a few dozen of these amazing tablets since they have first came on the market, and they keep getting better. They are light, fast, and powerful. They are perfect for professional, students, and for the every day person. More tablets should be designed like this.

I use my Surface Pro 3 both as a tablet and as an office computer. I really love how easy it is to take the Surface Pro in and out of the Docking station. Additionally the Docking station charges the Surface Pro so when I take it out at night to use as a tablet it is always charged. I have connected another monitor , cd/dvd, etc and they all work fine. One complaint I believe that the additional connection devices for a monitor and for dvd player should come standard with the Docking system.

Love this product! When I attach my Surface Pro 5 to the docking station it's exactly like having a regular laptop. Although the Surface Pro 3 only has 1 USB port - the docking station has more! The docking station makes it easy to attach and detach the Surface Pro 3.

Slick looking and durable. It doesn't take that much space either.

My daughter introduced me to Roku when I realized I was paying way too much for cable/satellite. Now I can choose and only pay for programs/movies as I please and the fee is minimal. I queue my favorites and easily and quickly am able to watch my chosen shows.
