This docking station was an answer to many of the issues I had with the surface tablet. I needed something with more USB ports for the mouse, printers and camera. I also purchased the HDMI accessory and connected my tablet to my TV. Excellent purchase.

We have multiple conference rooms in multiple offices. We use a dock in each location to make each room "plug and play" ready. This dock works fantastic with each of our SP3 systems and we recommended them to our peers trying to accomplish the same.

I love the docking station for the Surface Pro 3 so much that I have 2 of them. I have one at home and one in my office. There are many more USB ports on them, which allows easy access to information. It is just a great and handy addition.

When working from my desk, I like the functionality of a work station. This docking station gives the multi-display features I need and the fast connection to all my stationary devices. I totally recommend this for anyone with a Surface.

The docking station completes the Surface transformation to a "desktop" by allowing it to easily connect to expansion drives, a second monitors and other peripherals in an instant with no fumbling for power supplies, cords, etc.

Bought an open box item and was a bit skeptical of it at first because the box was beat up. the product inside looked like new and works great though. I am using it to output to two dell 27 inch monitors without issue.

I love the way the Surface fits into it. I love that I can leave the keyboard attached or remove it if I have a full size keyboard. Extra display and USB ports are nice.

I love having the docking station on my desk. Having the extra USB ports and Ethernet connection are helpful. Only negative is that the display-port flickers when driving UHD 4K resolution from the docking station. I just have to plug the display port directly into my surface and it works fine.

If you have a Surface you need this dock for home/office. That said, I'm not really fond of the locking mechanism. Sometimes it misses the connection on the end and doesn't activate until you open it and realign it and close it again.

great device to turn your surface into a desktop pc. it is great to plug everything in the back and only have to dock the surface. when I am ready to leave I only to take the surface and not unplug a ton of cables.

My Surface Pro 3 sits in the docking station at just the right angle on my desk. The docking station gives me additional USB ports to connect keyboard, mouse, additional monitor, USB hard drive and jump drives.

I ordered the SP3 docking station online with in store pick-up option. Docking station works great. I use the dock to prevent numerous cable disconnections/re connections each time I use the SP3 away from my home.

the usb on the Surface does not run a device that requires power. docking station has one available on it also nice for plugging in an external monitor then just leave it there and pick up the Surface and go.

Runs windows like a champ. It's a true Laptop. Gaming is slow, but i knew it would be. My only issue is that using an external monitor with a different resolution is a HUGE PITA. Other than that It Rocks!

If you want to do heavy stuff on your Surface Pro and turn it into a powerful workstation, this is what you need. Plenty of inputs and outputs. I can connect all sorts of devices simultaneously. Awesome!

Excellent addition if you want your Surface Pro 3 to be a desktop replacement. Easy set up and additional ports make adding accessories simple. Even better, the price has now come down approximately $50.

Recently purchased the docking station with my surface pro 3. Great addition to the surface pro. Helps with the limited number of usb ports on the surface pro. Definitely would recommend getting one...

I use it for work every day. Holds device in an "almost good" angle, provides lots of extra ports for drives, monitors. Would be nicer if the power adapter was EXACTLY the same as the Surface Pro 3.
