It works. The key feels good when typing but the track pad is not that good.

If you are purchasing a surface pro 3 and want to use it for school, business, or even everyday use the type cover is a VERY useful addition to the SP3. The surface does have some bugs with programs not recognizing the cover is attached sometimes, however this is usually fixed with a detachment-re attachment cycle.

This keyboard has a good design and very easy to use with surface pro 3 tablet.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone purchasing the Surface Pro 3. This not only works as a great keypad but also serves as a cover for the tablet. It easily attaches or detaches magnetically.

Attach keyboard to Surface Pro and now you have a laptop! Keyboard can also be used as a cover for the tablet. Comes in a variety of colors and attaches easily by magnetic force to tablet. Keyboard is a little overpriced so be ready to pay at least $100 and although tablet has on screen keyboard, I highly recommend the purchase to be able to take full advantage of all functions.

My type cover is a must for my surface pro 3. The light up keys are great, my old laptop didn't light up. When I close my cover on the surface it goes into sleep mode or something, but its not a inconvenience and im glad it does. The mouse pad is a must also because I find my pen isn't suited for everything, and it has full mouse functions. the type cover can lay flat or prop up slightly for comfort and support when typing. The finish is unique kinda like a fabric it has a nice feel and helps keep the whole device from sliding when using the pen and while typing. I would like to see a strap or a magnet strap to help keep the keyboard from flopping around and opening when moving it around.

Like the convenience of the detachable keyboard. Nice for a beginner.

If you are already used to laptop keyboards, then you won't have any issues with this. If you are used to desktop keyboards which are a little bigger, this one will take some getting used to. At first it would take me forever to type anything bc i kept hitting the wrong keys. Also, i wish they made them w. the number pad on the side, but sometimes you have to rough it

For something that is pretty much a necessity, it should come standard. A lot of thought went into the design of this keyboard. The only issues I have are #1 the trackpad could be larger and #2 there trackpad feels like it has some raised bumps on it where it clicks. Nothing major, but noticeable.

I live to easy way it connects to my surface. The type touch is better in my estimation since you can feel when you hit the keys similar to a regular keyboard. It doubles as a handy cover as well.

Keyboard clicks right into the Surface with ease. Also serves as a great cover for the screen. Keyboard can be set at a slight angle for typing ease. I would recommend getting an external mouse.

Works great. Love the fact that it's magnetic. Also protects the screen.

Got tired of trying to use the onscreen keyboard so decided to get a combo cover keyboard. Light, surprisingly strong connection with the magnetic attachment, fits the screen like a glove, and the keyboard feels "right" when you type on it (solid and keys are spaced normally not crammed together).
