I love having the ability to have a keyboard when typing longer things and I love the portability of this laptop/tablet without the keyboard. Its small enough to take with you when you want to have it... just in case. Love it.

The magnetic attachment snaps instantly onto the Surface Pro 3. The backlight function works as soon as my hands approach the keyboard. I downgraded it to 4 stars because the outer material has a nap to it and may become dirty with time - I don't know easily it will be cleaned.

Surface pro type cover is a necessary accessory for this device. It makes the tablet extremely versatile and turns it into a full blown pc. very comfortable to use.

i can easily write and upload assignments! i love the touch screen and the surface's ability to be a tablet AND laptop. I recommend it to anyone in school. It's only downfall is when it runs for too long you can hear the fan.

I purchased this, but have yet to use it. I am using Surface Pro 3 as a desktop replacement with the convenience of being able to sit on the couch and use it as a tablet. I'm sure if I was on a plane or on vacation it may be useful, but so far I could probably have done without it.

This works just like I expected. Easily connects/disconnects from the Surface Pro 3. Adds some nice protection for the screen. The keys are a little more sensative then I'm used to, but I think a person will get used to it.

Pretty much a Qwerty keyboard. The only issue is the touchpad at the bottom (the bane of all portable computers). I circumvented that problem by covering it with a small microfiber cloth unless I need it. I usually don't because the screen is a touch screen. The alternative to the cover is one of 4 onscreen keyboards. Simplified qwerty, grouped keys (not gonna try to explain it here), a full qwerty, and (something I really like) a writing pad (you use the pen). That is interestingly very good at recognizing handwriting with the stylus. But using those methods is difficult if you have a lot of text to enter. That's why I got the cover.

This keyboard is much better than the keyboards for the older model surfaces'. The color is great, and the pen loop is easily attached.

I wanted this to make it more like a laptop but you MUST use it on a hard surface making it great to work on at a desk. I think it will come in handy when I travel - much easier than taking a laptop to use on the airplane!

As the ads say the keyboard also functions as protection for the Pro 3 screen. Sometimes you just need a keyboard for the work you are doing and this one works well.

Great keyboard, works as advertised. It's as good as typing on my laptop and truly gives you the ability to fold it out of the way.

If you have the surface 3, this is a must need purchase. Pros: light, light-up keys, magnetic part rises the keyboard. Cons: NONE

The keyboard makes the tablet experience so much easier to type & it also works as a cover to protect the screen from scratches.

I love how this product is so durable , portable , easy to work with and do not forget the back light , all and all a must have .

I was worried about using this because of the size, but the buttons are big and respond well. The only thing it is missing is the number pad, but if they added that then the keys would be too small for my big hands!

Everything as expected with this cover. Looks great and very easy to use. Only problem is with the price, seems a bit expensive.

Fantastic tablet. Best buy matched microsoft student discount. had it for about 3 months now. Couldn't be happier. Tablet it so fast and efficient. Al so bought the Microsoft complete warranty. I def recommend it!

This keyboard cover seems to be a must have item for the Surface. It finishes the feel of being a complete desktop style computer and it also provides a nice screen covering for when not in use. Highly recommended.

This is a good keyboard and cover combination for my new Surface Pro3. It is easy to use, with good touch response. It certainly fits the Surface well and contacts are really good. Easy on and off. Wish the hinge was a little stiffer as it sometimes feels too floppy.

I purchased this keyboard so that I use the SP3 as my main source of work for school. The only thing that would make this keyboard better would be if it were about 4 inches longer for resting of hands when typing.
