I’ve been a Surface Pro lover for years. I’ve always appreciated how sleek and stylish it is, and the keyboard has consistently been one of my favorite features. But there’s one major issue: using the folding feature feels like a 50/50 chance of eventually breaking the keyboard. I’ve bought this keyboard three times, and each one has failed the same way. By the third purchase, I was so cautious that I stopped folding it into tablet mode altogether. Whenever I wanted to game or watch something in tablet mode, I would completely detach the keyboard just to protect it. Unfortunately, even with all that care, the keyboard I’ve had for the past three years just broke again this week. The Surface Pro is still my favorite tablet-hybrid, but the keyboard has been the worst part of the experience. If you own a Surface, I honestly recommend getting a portable Bluetooth keyboard instead.

Work flawless and feels great to type on. Love the backlit keys and not too bright. I would recommend this keyboard and not aftermarket or offbeat brands.

It feels a tad flimsy and moves a bit while typing. The keyboard is backlit which is nice. I also like that it will lay flat or elevated slightly for ease of use. Track pad is sensitive and sometimes moves if my thumb accidentally touches it while typing.

This is something you can’t afford not to have when you have a Surface Pro. It’s so nice, sleek and neat, durable. It’s a must have.

If you buy a Surface Pro you will no doubt need this keyboard/cover! Keyboard is a good size and works like a keyboard should.

Needed since I had a previous one which got damage and was needed for the proper use of my computer. Looks nice the blue color.

It's pricey, but good quality. I would recommend price matching as Amazon usually sells them cheaper and BestBuy does price match if it's shipped and sold by amazon.

Purchased this keyboard for my Surface Pro 9 that I was buying. I've had absolutely no issues with it and it works great!

Our 2x MS Surface Pro 8 computers have been great for me and my wife the past 2 years, until both keyboards stopped functioning within a week of each other. Had to purchase 2 new keyboards and now back to normal operations again. Thanks to BB staff in Boise, Idaho for assisting; but frustrating that the MS SP8 keyboards fail so quickly.

The keyboard feels tactile and functional to use, but I don't love the trackpad. It's functional but sometimes tapping in the corners to simulate left & right button clicks don't quite register correctly or intuitively. Still, it does a good job otherwise.

Keyboard works well and is an essential part of the surface experience. Wish it was part of the SP package, but a needed accessory for the SP line. Overall nice keyboard, nice key travel, and the mouse is pretty spot on.

Great product, holding up well with everyday use. Love that it charges and holds the slim pen. Now I don't have to worry about losing the pen when I travel.

I thought it was a little pricey, but decided to take a chance and upon using it constantly for about a month I can definitely say this is just as solid as a traditional laptop keyboard. It snaps in securely and everything feels solid. The connection flap that attaches to the Surface 8 Pro tablet also holds a space for the Slim Pen 2, which also charges it. I was worried that there'd be trouble with the Alacantara material, but it feels comfortably soft and stays very clean. In the beginning I'd occasionally touch the trackpad accidentally while typing but that's more about adjusting from a larger keyboard.
