This is a solid keyboard. The pen holder didn’t hold the pen I had but that was the only downside.

Honestly the keyboard is a little annoying as you often have to tap the mouse more than once or apply some extra pressure in order for it to click. This is quite annoying over time. The QWERTY keyboard is fine. I do highly recommend this as an add on to the Surface Pro in order to have the real laptop effect. * I received an open box keyboard which could be the reason for my issue*

the style is amazing. This. Keyboard is only as thick as the cover of a book. And it quickly and easily snaps onto and detaches from the main unit. Additionally, typing on it is a very interesting experience. That's how silky and responsive it is. Excellent improvement over my earlier laptops. And it folds over like a cover. It turns the system into a genuine portable option. Surface would be lacking something essential without it. And naturally, the delivery was done in a timely manner and was dependable.

Found this on discount but works flawlessly, get for your surface pro 9, also include the pen tray/charge for future purchase of the pen.

I purchased the wrong keyboard with no way to charge my pen. When I returned it, I was very pleased with the ease of exchange and now I'm super happy to be drawing and working into the art of the pen

The cool feature of this keyboard is the pen holder, but that is also it's downfall. It is bulkier than the keyboards for the previous models, so it ends up covering up some of the bottom of your screen. I would recommend Microsoft find another way of storing a pen and going back to the lower profile keyboards. Aside from that, it worked perfectly, and may not be an issue to some people. It just wasn't working for me in my line of work.
