Easy to take off and on. Works well when a lot of keyboarding has to be done.

The keyboard is very easy to use and doubles as a protective cover for the screen. A little pricy for a keyboard however definitely needed for the surface pro

I find the Surface Pro keyboard very easy to use. It is not large which make it great to travel with. It is a plug and play unit when matched with the Surface Pro. It is not a click keyboard but is a very nice feel when used. I have used this same one on other Surface and not had any issues. I bought 3 of these for our office so you will find the review the same on each. Good add-on to the Surface Pro.

Great keyboard. Purchased to replace the original one. Works flawlessly with no issues. I would certainly buy this again if I needed another one.

Christmas present for Dad bought as an accessory for his Microsoft Surface Pro 7. The general design is a lot less substantial than something I'd prefer. It's basically the bottom half-flap of a thin case with a built in keyboard. But it's a necessary evil if you're trying to convert a Surface tablet into a more laptop-like experience. Anyway Dad wanted/likes it, so that's all that matters.

Is a perfect keyboard. Really satisfying for clicks. Nice protection. No weight to it. Good velvet feel without the dirt collection with regular velvet. I really love the magnet on it where it just snaps to the tablet. Like I’m never worried about it falling off. I will say it has warped a tiny bit in the 2 years Iv had it but I’m kind of abusive to it so it’s a wonder it’s kept up this long.

As someone who uses my surface pro 6 for both work and personal use, I love having the option of a full keyboard at my disposal for typing. Plus it acts as a nice lightweight cover for travel

A good solid keyboard. Attaches onto the tablet by magnets. It serves it’s purpose, just disappointed that it has to be purchased separately from the tablet. My only complaint is that it attracts a lot of dust, maybe it’s the type of finish..not sure.

Keyboard is easy to type on even though it is smaller than a standard keyboard. Mouse keypad is response and has a good feel to it. easy attach/detach from surface.

I spilled a cup of coffee on my original type cover. Yikes! I immediately went to the Best Buy website to look for a replacement. I was so relieved to find exactly what I needed. The replacement works perfectly. I even found an open box option and saved a little money. I am a very satisfied customer!

Great replacement and the right price, too (open box item, looked brand new). My 4-year-old keyboard was no longer working and the replacement was a fresh reminder for why I liked the Surface and keyboard so much to begin with. The keys have great travel, light up, are good sized for my hand and I love the soft backside when carrying it.

This keyboard was instock, on discount, and just clicked right in like it was at home to my pro. The keys are supple and work with ease. Love it!

I wanted it to match it with the Microsoft surface pro 6 and Im glad I did. I love the color. matte black. It's so pretty. The type cover is slim, clicks magnetically, and it's soft.

I bought this keyboard cover to go with my new Surface Pro. Although I love the touchscreen there are some functions that are better with keyboard. Plus the cover protects my device. I bought the 2yr protection policy because one of keys malfunctioned on an old device.

This is not a complaint about the actual product itself, but the way Best Buy markets this keyboard as a Signature Type Cover. Microsoft does not make a Signature Type Cover in black, yet Best Buy markets this as one. I should have done my research on this, but my judgment was clouded over the bundle deal. I bought a Surface Pro 7 that came with this exact model type cover and decided to still get a bundle with the pen and an extra premium keyboard. When I received the product, I was surprised that the keyboard I purchased was just a regular base keyboard. All in all, it is a good keyboard, but I bought it thinking it was a signature keyboard. I hope Best Buy gets this fixed because this is false advertisement.

It is a great keypad and a workhorse. It enhances the use of the Surface. Much better than just the ability to use the tablet screen.

Compact! Live the touch pad. Keys are not overly sensitive. Thin and very easy to use; basically attached to my surface pro five and worked immediately.

Yeah, like so many others I wish this keyboard was standard with the Surface Pro, but I can understand why it is not. Regardless, it is well worth the extra money as the magnetic attachment between the keyboard and the Pro is seemless. The backlighting is very nice also. It may feel a bit flimsy at first when comparing to a real laptop (not a 2-in-1) but the build is plenty sturdy. I also love how easily it folds up over the face of the Pro, making it oh so easy to transport, like carrying a light hard cover book.

I replaced my broken Surface Pro Signature Cover Pro 7+ with ease from Best Buy. The price was very reasonable. The new keyboard works perfect and it boosts the usability of my laptop. I love the light weight and solid keys with great touch response. I can type much faster with this keyboard, and the touch pad is very responsive.
