Typing on a tablet screen can be really inefficient when you are typing papers or something longer than a quick email. With the keyboard, you can have the best of both worlds with a portable tablet and keyboard.

I just can't belive you have to buy this after you buy the Surface Pro. Why isn't it included? The fit is very good, the keys are OK on the keyboard. Not easy to use on long days, but overall pretty effective.
