The key travel is good, the track pad is responsive, and I love the top row of function keys and the back-lit keys.

I replaced my first one because it had gotten dirty and very tough to clean but that is part of wear and tear. Very durable and worth the price.

This keyboard easily attaches to the tablet/pc via magnetically....loving it!!

A bit tough for folks with larger hands, but certainly better than a touch screen keyboard. As a case/cover, it works great.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't imagine someone buying a Surface Pro laptop and not wanting some kind of keyboard to go with it. The ideal way to use one of these is when it's attached to the Surface Dock and you have your favorite full-size keyboard, mouse and external display(s) attached to it. But on the go? This is Microsoft's portable keyboard solution. It looks nice and doubles as a cover for the Surface's screen. I don't really enjoy typing on this very much. It's just "ok". Has a flimsy feel to it and the keys are sort of mushy when you type on them. But that's just what you'd expect from looking at it.... I think in the end? Microsoft makes this as a nice compromise so you can have some kind of keyboard with your Surface Pro tablet that isn't inconvenient to carry around with it. But if you're going to do a lot of typing, you're probably better served by buying the Microsoft Surface Laptop instead of the "Pro" tablet?

I love that the keys are soft and don't make a lot of noise...that's very annoying/distracting during a meeting when trying to type out notes.

My keys did fall out but it was covered under the 1 year limited warranty and got it exchanged easily after a few minutes on the phone. Other then that I love how it lights up and is magnetized to the surface.

On the new cover, the keys have enough separation to allow me to type comfortably without mashing two keys at once. Also, the new material is very comfortable to rest you palms on for an extended period of type. I’m very impressed with the new cover

It made using the tablet as a computer better. Be careful because the Keyboard peels near the mouse pad for some reason.

The only shortcoming is the track-pad. Even at the least sensitive setting, it sensed my thumbs hovering above it and then moved the cursor to where I didn't want it. The solution was to deactivate it and use a mouse instead.
