Tried a 3rd party from Amazon and had to return and buy the real one from best buy. Don't make the same mistake I made.

Didn't need it because one was included with the Surface Pro but in the add said it was required. Tried to return it after having Covid & could not get my money back & had to get a gift card. Next time I will just return products even if I'm sick.

Works great, connects easy and securely. Doesn’t seem super durable from a case perspective, but I haven’t dropped it so I don’t know that for sure

The sales rep at best buy listened to my needs. This laptop is a perfect fit. Very easy to understand and use. Love the versatility of having a keyboard with a tablet.

It's a decent keyboard, although on the small side. That is understandable being how it is for the Surface, but the arrow keys (especially Up and Down arrows which are half-sized) being as small as they are make it difficult to navigate sometimes and this causes frequent mis-strokes.

This type cover was purchased as a replacement for the original type cover which I broke by accident. Has held up well, and very comfortable to use.

The Microsoft - Surface Pro Signature Type Cover - Burgundy is very soft to the touch. I really like the magnetic connection to the Surface Pro 4 and how easily it breaks away.

I hate to pay for accessories after spending so much on Surface Pro. However at this time there is no choice but to get the student discount and buy keyboard. It is supposed to be water proof and keys are nice. Sales person convinced me that it has lot of improvements on earlier version and worth it.

Bought this cover/keyboard for my wife and she loves it. Had it for a couple of years and never had any issues with it.

Not much to say for this keyboard. It works and is pretty durable. As far as the type of keyboard it is, it works fine. It is not great for extended time typing, but that's not what it is designed for. It is durable, feels great, and looks fantastic with the Surface.

Bought this to go with my Surface Pro and I love it! Snaps into place easily and works flawlessly. Great responsive keys and backlighting round out a really good keyboard.

It's a portable keyboard for goodness sake. No, it's not as sensitive as your desktop, but works well.
