Solid product but expensive

However, this should not be an option, it should have been included with the Surface Pro itself (sometimes it is but on very exclusive sales like Black Friday). The keyboard is kind of fundamental to the Surface experience--without it the Surface is just a tablet and there are superior tablets on the market. Separately sold, the keyboard is very expensive for what it actually is.

It should come right in the package together with the Microsoft surface tablet (which they do now as I purchased another Surface). I really feel this item is $50 to $70 overpriced and Microsoft is using their name as a price built into the product when they are mostly successful at cloud computing and software. It doesn’t do anything particularly special. It’s a forced purchase accessory on my opinion of you want to use the surface tablet like a computer and physical keyboard.
