(It was from a surface pro 3... but had been used on a 5 as well.) This keyboard has a more spacious layout that is more comfortable. The only downside is the magnet (not the one that attaches the keyboard, but rather the one that allows you to raise the keyboard up slightly by attaching it to the 'screen' seems weaker than the previous one. This is slightly annoying if you use it on your lap frequently. But I'd still buy it again for the keyboard size.

The clickiness helps me to type. I don't like that I had to purchase it separate and the surface pro should come with a keyboard.
