You won't be nearly as productive on a Surface Pro without the TypeCover. Key travel is excellent, trackpad is smooth, all in all a great product. I'm partial to the Platinum color myself, but this was a great open box deal!

A must if you have a surface. Neutral color and keyboard is very nice to have.

Though these are pricey at $160, it feels like a high quality detachable keyboard. The Alacantra gives it a luxurious feel and the keys are among the best with tablet/notebooks. The touch pad is definitely on par with the Macbook Pro's touch pad. I got this for productivity as well as to protect the screen during transport. I got the Cobalt Blue version and it looks really cool with my Black Surface Pro 6. Great job Microsoft. My only gripe is that, for the price which is pretty up there, Microsoft should have put a USB Type-C port instead of a USB A port. But it's not a deal breaker.

The Microsoft surface keyboard is very sleek and feels great. The keyboard work very well. It is very easy to attach and remove the keyboard when you want to just use the tablet.

After purchasing a Surface Pro keyboard/cover for my son as a gift (a Christmas suggestion from him), I liked it so much that I purchased another for myself to upgrade from the earlier Surface 3 Pro cover. The "real" keyboard format is a significant improvement.

I love this keyboard attachment. It's sleek and a nice material. Its keys are very easy to type with and it attaches so easily. However, the keypad on the left side has fallen in a sometimes doesn't pick up my clicking. It's a great purchase if you add the warranty onto it.

Had to buy to replace my old one. works great can't even tell its not the one that came with the computer.

Keyboard is a must. It makes it so easy to type and it keeps the screen cleaner. It also acts as a cover for the system.

I got the icy blue color, which I love! It is so cute and the size is perfect. It's not small and awkward to use at all, just perfect!

I owned surface before and when my old one died I upgraded and bought this cover/keyboard. My previous keyboard/cover never had a glitch. This cover tends to not connect with the surface tablet sometimes. The light on the cover will be on and should be working but it won't, so then I would disconnect the cover and reconnect it and so on and forth, sometimes it takes me multiple attempts before it starts to finally work. For the price of this cover, I feel like it should work always without any trouble.
