This is my second Microsoft pro type cover. Its fantastic and my computer is transformed into a valuable piece of equipment that I can type of papers and write fast. This keypad is a must have for the surface pro. Love it!

Love this!! Perfect for graduate school and love how it works seamlessly and effortlessly. The magnetic attachment is a plus. Surface automatically recognizes and switches to regular/computer mode from tablet mode when connected.

I needed a new key board for my wife's old Surface Pro, they no longer make the keyboard for that older model...(at least not that I could find) so I purchased this and it works great. It sticks out a little around the edges but who cares when it mainly stays home. Great product

Connects effortlessly to the surface pro. Keys feel good on the fingertips and it hasn't failed since I bought it. Expensive, but works very well.

Good keyboard. Mouse contact, for me the most important part, stays strong even after years of use. Connect/disconnect is easy and causes no issues.

The key board is necessary with the type of systems that I support and the projects I'm involved in. It's funny now how a key board is an option you have to pay for. I guess I'm to old school, but as I've made my living with computer since 1973, I'm ok with being old school and using the keyboard. (before there where keyboards, anyone remember punch cards?) The keyboard works great, a little smaller than my normal touch, but easy to use.

I don't see any difference between this one and the one I had for the Pro4 except for the backlight key. The older one had 1 toggle key for the backlight and this has 2. So if you have the previous version don't bother with a new one. These are comfortable to use and make a perfect screen cover in portable mode. The fabric on them is soft, luxurious-looking, and durable. Hardly adds any weight to the screen/computer/tablet. Folds so easily out of the way in tablet mode or removes just as easily if you don't want it attached.

Microsoft keyboards for the Surface tables have always been nice, but a little too pricey.

This is a good keyboard, but it’s pretty pricey! Thankful BB did a price match on amazon. The keys are easy to type on and they are a good size, I think surface pro should include it since it is a key feature of the device. The texture is nice a soft and it adds very little bulk. Overall I recommend!

I originally bought my surface without all the accessories. Since, I have purchased the pen and keyboard. I have another Bluetooth keyboard but nothing works quite like the OEM keyboard for typing and as a protective cover for the screen when not in use.

This is so perfect! Made specifically for the surface pro. Easy to type on and I’m super picky with keyboards. Mouse pad is sensitive enough to manipulate but not overly sensitive. Doesn’t make me miss my usb mouse. I do wish it was cheaper

This is a must have keyboard for your MSP. Great to use, easy to carry and it makes great screen protection.

This was perfect for me. My surface came with the signature gray cover in a bundle. While it has a nicer feel, I needed black that could be easily wiped off and this fit the bill. Typing feels the same on both.

It's a soft touch keypad with an added feature for brightness which my previous type cover did not have. So far I am happy with its performance.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He really likes the fact that he can have a regular keyboard instead of using just the pop-up screen one. He also likes that you can detach part of it. It is a good protective cover when traveling. The color matches nicely with the other accessories.

Snap in the new keyboard cover and that’s it! I’m back in action and my keyboard is once again functioning perfectly!

This works great, Original keyboard stopped working on and off and this replacement has been great. No issues.

This type cover was the perfect addition to my Surface Pro. It is so much easier to use the Surface with it.

The type cover has come along way since The first generation surface tab. The ability to raise the keyboard up is a much better design. And I find both the keys are more responsive and the touchpad is more robust. The only downside is not functionality, but aesthetics. The soft backside, which becomes the viewable cover when closed, is easily scratchable and now appears much more dated than it is. Doesn’t not affect functionality though.
