Seen a review on YouTube where pen was held in by keyboard but this didn't have it. Must of been older surface. Little disappointed on that.

Better than I expected

I bought the surface to use mostly as a tablet so I didn't really expect to get much use out of the keyboard, but it's so convenient, lightweight, and easy to deal with that I ended up keeping it attached full time. I thought I would only attach it when needed. But the fact that it acts as a cover when closed and it's so easy to move out of the way when not needed that I literally just leave it attached full time now. Very glad I picked this up!

Make sure the background and keyboard lightings are off (or use only when needed), else it is a drain on the battery. Mouse pad can be oversensitive, often over-deleting materials.
