Finally settled on cobalt but maybe I will get maroon in the future. It doubles as a screen protector when not using the surface pro.

The keys and track-pad on this keyboard feel so much more responsive and it never disconnects from the tablet. I'm so glad that it was on sale and Best Buy matched the price. Quality is so worth the extra I paid.

Typing is smooth with great tactile feedback. The addition of a numeric keyboard would add one more star, but on the other hand, would increase the size. Pretty expensive for an add-on keyboard, though.

This is a necessity for the laptop so just add it and charge for it. Or give the option to rather take it off that way people don’t turn away from buying these great laptops

I have not had any problems attaching and detaching the keyboard and it is easy to do. Not sure I'm a big fan of the "cloth" surface, but the keyboard itself functions as it should and it doesn't feel like a cheap plastic keyboard. I would recommend it.

Bought this one and this one has been going strong for 3 years or so with the same heavy abuse. My 3 kids and myself all use this. It has been wonderful.

In comparing the two I feel that the key spacing is more comfortable on this iteration of the type cover. All function keys work as expected and helped to add some years to my Surface Pro
