Not only is it portable you can easily store it away or swap it out for another if necessary. The smaller footprint layout does not bother me in any way either.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New Surface Pro 2017 with Intel i7 is an outstanding performer as a tablet and more than expected as an ultralight Windows PC, but is just a tad short with 8GB of RAM to run Photoshop CC and Lighroom CC concurrently as these apps are designed to do. (These apps run fine one at a time.) Stepping up to 16GB, though, prices this system out of the reasonable range for its purpose.

But when I went back it was handled perfectly. And My wife is thrilled with this.

The keyboard of course is smaller than a normal keyboard but it’s easy to type with and doesn’t feel bulky.

Snaps into place easily and stays. Recognized immediately and have never had any noticeable lag. Great addition to your surface family.

The key travel is good, the track pad is responsive, and I love the top row of function keys and the back-lit keys.
