great device, keyboard not durable

Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love my surface type cover and surface pro, but the type cover stopped working consistently about 7 months after my purchase. I'm a college student, so it's always in my backpack, and was a real struggle when I only had the onscreen keyboard for assignments. The good thing is that as an engineer, I mostly use the pen and drawing apps anyway (for math and science classes and notes). I would recommend buying a cheap bluetooth keyboard where the connection can not go bad just as a backup, and I'm currently looking at some other more durable looking cases on amazon.

I like how soft the light behind the keys is, it doesn't hurt my eyes but it's bright enough to stand out even in the daytime.

The only complaint I have is that it is not solid, so when I type sometimes I feel like it's flexible and not solid like a regular keyboard. It's still easy to use, just a little "squishy"
