In addition here's a fun tip: try folding your keyboard backwards to transition into tablet mode. Your keys will be unresponsive until you flip it back to laptop mode!

I looked at offbrand replacements and realized that even though they connect to the Surface physically, they work over WiFi. Bought a Microsoft brand replacement and was impressed. For one thing the space bar works reliably now!

This is definitely worth the extra price vs. cheap after-market Bluetooth keyboards.

It's perfect for a laptop, and the height (angle) to rest the wrist. If you are going to be for a long period of time, working with it, I suggest an external bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

The fabric covering feels great, I wouldnt use while eating though and I'm sure it's not a great match and will stain from greasy fingers. The BB employee said it well, you spent a lot of money on your surface because it's a premium machine, this is a premium keyboard, treat it as such. I had a surface pro one, and let's just say this keyboard is light years ahead of that. Close to a regular keyboard experience but very thin and light. Cobalt to me is the best color, cool but still professional.

It is the same brand and produced specifically for this product. I gave 4 stars because this is the second one that I had to get for a surface product. The previous one started acting up (some buttons not registering when pressed, etc.). I question the quality of the product if it does not last as long as the computer. Otherwise, it is a working keyboard attachment for the surface computer.
