It also doubles as a cover for the surface when not in use. It connects magnetically and switches from pc to tablet just by connecting/disconnecting the keyboard. It is perfect!

I have a keyboard that I use at work and the detachable keyboard for my Surface Pro blows it away. The only thing my PC keyboard has an advantage on is the dedicated number pad on the right of the keyboard. I don't thing I will need it for the Surface so its won't effect my rating.
