I wish it had been a bundle but it is what it is. Definitely need it and it works as it should with the Surface.

This is similar but has backlighting. The keys are just right for response and the trackpad is accurate and easy to use. Must have for a Surface Pro

You do have to be care full or it will come unattached from the screen. I do think it's an improvement over prior keyboards however.
