This type cover is perfect for your Surface Pro. I tend to accumulate ink marks on everything on my desk, or wherever I'm working, and this item has both a texture and coloring (not a solid color), that helps to combat those errant pen marks. Well-worth the money.

The old one seems to have used a not so tough material - this one feels very sturdy. Love the adjustable keyboard illumination, touchpad really works, so a very happy customer.... a little expensive - but makes my 3 year old surface feel brand new!
