The quality of microsoft surface products are very good, to date I have not had any complaints in the ones I have purchased, in the case of the keyboard it fulfills its function very well as mentioned in the advertising.

This is shockingly good. Never before have Microsoft gotten it right -- and now they have. A keyboard with great key travel and spacing, wonderful tactile feedback, backlight, and a responsive trackpad that supports Microsoft Precision Touchpad for gesture control.

I had to purchase this one to replace one that I lost. It fits perfectly on my surface and has soft keys. It is great and serves its purpose well!

This keyboard made my life as a college student easier. I used it to take notes. Very comfortable and keys are not noisy.

Works as intended, and have had no issues. My last one was grey and just got a dirty look to it. Black should solve that issue.

My brother had one of these way before I purchased mine and he said it stopped working. Mine works fine as of today and some times I notice that my surface will not connect properly, but if you do experience this I just reattach it and it works just as fine. I prefer to use this over the screen keyboard just for efficiency when doing my work, and it also proves to be a great screen cover.

I purchased the Microsoft - Surface Pro Signature Type Cover which works as it should. The type cover snaps onto my Surface Pro 4 easily without any fuss. If you are looking for a type cover for a Surface Pro 4, I recommend this one.

Best keyboard for surface pro models. Feel and typing feels amazing. I dont think any keyboarb can beat this ones in terms of feels. buying again because original is gone after 5 -6 years.

Very happy with the black surface pro keyboard. I did like the colored ones, but was worried they'd get dirty much quicker, especially based on how the store models looked. The black is also slightly less expensive. No matter the color, though, they work great!

Great replacement for my surface pro 7 laptop. Easy to wipe.

The surface keyboard works really good. I replaced the old keyboard I had with this one and I don't have any problems with it. It's worth the purchase.

Easy to use and a cool feature of surface pro. I initially thought that the fabric like cover would wear out, but the guys at the Microsoft store said their display keyboards have lasted 3 years. We’ll see! It must be made out of the same things our processed food is made out of...never goes bad!

Nice size keyboard. Keys are a little bit noisy, but have a nice tactile touch to them. The cover is nice and protects the screen from scratches. The screen has a very thin edge to it so the keyboard serves as a nice insurance to keep Surface Pro in top condition for a long time.

I have been using mine for almost a year and just about daily. It still looks like new despite spills, usage and falls over the last 12 months. Best portable keyboard I’ve ever used. I would only recommend getting one that’s backlit. You cannot see the keys in the dark.

Required compliment to the MS Surface. Very light detachable keyboard with a nice typing experience. The trackpad is very accurate and easy to use. Keys feel a little cramped, but you get used to it quickly. Would recommend.

I have had this for a few months now and can say that I am satisfied with it. It provides good protection to the screen when not used and it's really great to type with. If I had one complaint, it would be with the trackpad, takes a bit to get used to. But even with that, I would recommend this.
