This is similar but has backlighting. The keys are just right for response and the trackpad is accurate and easy to use. Must have for a Surface Pro, it shouldn't even be considered an "accessory"

Unless you dock your Surface Pro at all times, you will want to have this keyboard. Backlit keys, great travel, and a quiet response all make for a solid typing experience. The rubbery interior palm rest is a distinct texture from the suede-like surface of the back side. The trackpad is evenly centered (good for lefties), and provides a solid tactile bump when pressed. While a little pricey, it's a must-have accessory to the surface pro.

A mixed bag but overall very good!

It was well worth the discounted price with minor cosmetic damage only. I was very pleased to see that it was backlit. As I use my Surface Pro in varying conditions, the backlighting is a big plus. The downside for me is that the touch pad is too sensitive and until I disabled some of its features, I was constantly activating links that I was not interested in. With the adjustment I can move around on pages without these unexpected problems.

My only complaint is that I miss having a numeric keypad, but the keyboard is used for traveling and meets my desire to keep the computer and peripherals to a minimum. If I need a numeric keypad, I just use a bigger keyboard when at home/office.
