The Surface keyboards have only a one-year warranty, and mine had lasted one year nine months. The best part of purchasing a new keyboard was dealing with Best Buy. As usual, excellent services, knowledgeable employees, and free delivery. All of this took place in a matter of three days

BestBuy had an original equipment keyboard for a better price plus free shipping. Win Win!
