The Alacantra gives it a luxurious feel and the keys are among the best with tablet/notebooks. The touch pad is definitely on par with the Macbook Pro's touch pad. I got this for productivity as well as to protect the screen during transport. I got the Cobalt Blue version and it looks really cool with my Black Surface Pro 6. Great job Microsoft. My only gripe is that, for the price which is pretty up there, Microsoft should have put a USB Type-C port instead of a USB A port. But it's not a deal breaker.

The "real" keyboard format is a significant improvement.

In Love, but Disappointed

Its keys are very easy to type with and it attaches so easily. However, the keypad on the left side has fallen in a sometimes doesn't pick up my clicking. It's a great purchase if you add the warranty onto it.

easy to clean

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we originally had the grey one which had a felt like material and it got really dirty over a little time and it was almost impossible to clean. this one is not the same material and using a clorox wipe its easy to clean in seconds.

Key travel is excellent, trackpad is smooth, all in all a great product. I'm partial to the Platinum color myself, but this was a great open box deal!
