I bought the new keyboard to use on a Pro 3 and love it. It feels just like a normal laptop keyboard and track pad works great. Wish it came bundled with the tablet itself.

This keyboard is better than others out there. The keys are easier to push than the flat ones and attaches very easily to the Surface Pro. It also is very thin and compact.

As a previous owner of the generation 1 and 3 surface pro series, the Surface Pro 4 keyboard is the best keyboard you can buy. It's better than the Lenovo Y700 keyboard and that was a full laptop. It's smooth and responds well to various finger responses. It has three levels of back lighting, nice key travel, and a smooth track pad. Only negative is the price and not being included with the Surface Pro 4

The Microsoft Surface Pro Type Cover is a must have when completing business documents and school assignments. It certainly allows you to complete the tasks more quickly.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 type cover is a great complement to the Surface Pro 4 device. It protects the face of the Surface Pro and functions as a reasonable keyboard.

Great keyboard. Perfect size, the surface is a little rubbery so fingers stick to the keyboard (but only as much as it is needed), easy to attach and actually holds the Surface 4 really well (compared to older keyboard versions that I tried with Surface Pro 3 ). In love with the vibrant blue color! (Normally I would chose the black, but they are a faded-black-very washed out color, doesn't look good.)

Love my keyboard! Love having a keyboard and not having to touch the screen. Also helps protect the screen when closed. Nice feel to the keys, and normal sized keyboard.

I love this keyboard. It has a great magnetic snap and the feel is excellent. Love the keys as they have a nice feel and requires you to press a little so feels good.

The keys on the keyboard lite up which i great. And it works as a great screen cover when traveling. The trackpad works great. The only reason 1 gave 4 instead of 5 stars was due to the fact that its an additional purchased and not part of purchase of the surface

Easy to use and attach. Very light weight. Track pad is simple but we'll functioning.

The SP4 keyboard works great with my SP3. It has just the right amount of feedback and looks great too. One of the better keyboards I've used on a portable machine.

This new keyboard fixes all of the problems with the old keyboard and is a huge improvement. It changed how I used my Surface. It also works with the Surface Pro 3.

Ok, Microsoft should have included this with the proprietary hardware that it goes with. That being said, its a great keyboard, very comfortable and easy to use.

This keyboard is simply amazing!! The layout is great the track pad is very precise. Connects instantly with the installed magnets. Great match for the surface pro

Two reasons for not being a 5 star. 1) Price is outrageous. 2) Kind of awkward to use until you get use to it. Going from a laptop with a solid hinge to maintain the angle to a flexible hinge takes some getting use to...especially when using in on your lap!

Perfect fit, easy installation, and provides some added protection for our new Surface Pro 4. Has held up perfectly over the last 5 months as well!

I've used a lot of type covers. Whether it's been for an iPad, or from a third party for Surface Pros (and the SP3 cover), I've always felt a little disappointed. Microsoft hit the nail on the head with this guy though. I don't know who at Microsoft discovered a new diminution to send these keys to, but dang is the key travel phenomenal for it's size! They also did fantastic with the track pad. It feels like glass (I think is), and rarely misinterprets multi-touch commands. It is an absolute must for the Surface Pro, and that's all I really need to say. 5 Stars, and high fives all around!

Microsoft has just hit a home run with this much improved type cover. The feel of the keys on the keyboard are superb and spaced just right. Keep it up Microsoft.

This works as a cover and a keyboard all in one. The keyboard is like using the keyboard you would use with your PC. Remove the cover and you have just a tablet.

I love my keyboard and love the color. I wish it lit up, though. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and it's supposed to... but I love the new track pad (from the one that came with the Pro 3) and the softer keys. Much better technology.
