works well, gets attached to surface really well and strong, this just isn't too strong though. It would have been nice if it was stronger.

You have to get the keyboardwith the surface to make it practical. I do have to detach the keyboard sometimes to reset it because the mouse won't connext.

I upgraded my Surface Pro 3 Keyboard from the First Gen to this one after reading all the positive reviews. GLAD to see I was not to be disappointed! I've enjoyed it since making the transition and the keys seem to give a better feel and placement, but the touchpad is what really seals the deal for me. Love the smoothness and quick response. MUCH smoother and more reactive than the first gen.

Only used this for a few hours, overall the keyboard feeling was good. Ended up returning it when I returned the new surface 4 due to overheating issues.

It's the best keyboard for surfaces. Excellent for typing and use the mouse pad.

I didn't have a high expectation level for this... seemed like a bandaid while you wait for a "real" keyboard to be delivered. However; I was wrong... It's not a bandaid... It's fun! The textured keyboard doesn't leave an indention on my hand nor is there a rough edge. It's easy to connect and vs. I also really like that it doubles as a cover. It's a definite must!

its great i move really fast on it how ever as i am in accounting not having the number pad to the side does not help. plus it did not come in purple

Great keyboard . . . I even enjoy typing on it and that is saying a lot for me. Pros: Backlit! very responsive fits perfectly works flawlessly Cons: Price. As far as I am concerned, at the price my Surface Pro 4 was they keyboard should have come with it! This model has no biometric ability. There is a version w/ fingerprint but it is even more expensive.

It's a keyboard, so not much to say. Functions well, like the attachment to the surface, and easy to type with. A must have accessory for the surface.
