I like this product for three reasons. First when closed it protects the screen well. Reason two it is easy to attache and works without any configuration. The third reason is that the keys respond great even if you are typing at 60 - 70 WPM.

I really enjoy the Surface Pro, the portability and versatility of the design with or without the Type Cover attached. Lightweight, sleek and back lit, comfortable to type on. I only have one drawback, which I considered upon purchase of this color type cover - and that was how quickly it would start to show dirt. I love the cyan blue color, it matches a few other things I own (including my car) but I was disappointed that the cover starts to show dirt very quickly. It can be cleaned gently with a barely damp soft micro-fiber cloth, but in hindsight I wish I had gone with initial gut and gotten the black type cover with the finger print reader ($30 more) I would also love to see a 10-key pad on the lower right next to the track pad on future releases, but that isn't factoring into my review! (I will send that comment up to MS.)

Got a great deal on this type cover that I had been looking for. I honestly had not read the features of this product, but when i attached it to my Surface Pro4 I was amazed that it was backlit or that the touchpad buttons were incorporated in the pad. It complements the tablet and i don't even realize it's a tablet. Truly a tablet to replace my laptop. Keystrokes feel just like a regular laptop keyboard and are smooth and precise. It adds a level of protection to my screen. I wish it came with a way to hold it shut (like a strap or snap) and a slot for the pen.

Works flawlessly. I have used it for extended periods of time without issues. The amount of key travel is comparable to my MacBooks and good I think. The backlighting is nice. I'd give it 5 stars but I'm irked that they charge so much for it.

Good quality keyboard. Easy to snap on and off if I want to use it as a tablet. Microsoft really got it right with these Surface Pro accessories.

This was a great cover for my Surface but cost was a little steep.

Love the color choices and the feel of the light weight keyboard. Great for typing quickly. Easy on and off feature to convert from laptop to tablet.

I have nothing bad to write about this keyboard. It is thin and protects the screen well without adding TOO much extra bulk/weight. To date (2-months use) I have not noticed any marring on the screen as a result of the keys. Not sure if that is an issue anyone is reporting, but it was one thing that I was worried about at first. My only complaint would be that when the keyboard is elevated and magnetized to the bottom portion of the surface, it makes it difficult to touch the bottom of the screen (e.g.: tap the start button or any of the open windows along the task bar).

This keyboard works better than I thought it would. I like the way the keys feel and its comfortable size for my hands. Teal color is nice and subtle.

I like the keyboard very much, and it would be very hard to use the computer without it. Works well, is easy to attach magnetically - great product!

keyboard have more space between each character. easy to attach and detach.

I always buy the type cover for our Surface Pro computers. They work flawlessly, and are much easier to use than the on-screen keyboard.

Its a bit large but offers great protection and it looks real good as well.

I have an iPad Air with a keyboard, but it requires Bluetooth connectivity. The Surface keypad is seamless as it connects and disconnects with ease. No having to go to settings, hold down buttons, etc. It has a perfect angle for typing. Great product.

Yes, it's $130 and a bit spendy for a must-have accessory but it is definitely worth it. You can save a few dollars by buying the "old" keyboards but the keys have much better travel due to their separation and typing is at least 30% more accurate.

I'm very impressed with how this keyboard feels. It makes typing feel very natural. Ithe also provides great protection for the Surface Pro 4.

this keyboard is a must have for the surface pro 4, very easy to get used to and the clicking mimics a full sized keyboard. nice haptic feed back

The keyboard is nice to type and is sensitive. The connecting dock is pretty good except the occasion connection is not detectable. But its easily solvable by detaching and reattaching it. It's very light and perform it's function well.

Used very hard daily and holds up well. No issues with keys and molds nice with the system. Would recommend and purchase this product again

You know why you're looking at this product. You that it's expensive, so I don't need to explain the whole price debate. Overall this is the best windows machine I've ever used. It's extremely light and compact, and the kickstand is nifty. The surface pen I hardly use but when I need to be more precise, it's there when I need it and it works flawlessly. I would recommend buying the higher memory model, or buy an sd card to expand the storage because storage does go away quick. This is the best laptop to get work done in windows by far.
