If anyone tells you this will not work on a Surface (NOT PRO) 3, they are incorrect. My 3 type cover from over a year ago was broken (human error, not defect), and this one was an instant, perfect fit! All the upgrades of the latest & greatest combined with the flexibility to fit on last year's model. Nice.

This device is compact, travels easy, and the keys are large, which is a plus because I have large hands and fingers.

Its a must have accessory for the surface pro 4. It sould really just come with it. The touch pad works good. The key size and spacing doesn't feel cramped with my big fingers. The typing feel is great like a quality keyboard not a cheap one. the only thing I miss from my Yoga keyboard is the backlit keys.

This is my second Surface tablet, and I must admit this Type keyboard is even better than the previous version. Excellent feel, very comfortable. Almost as good or perhaps better than my full size computer keyboard. I strongly recommend the Type cover keyboard with any Surface tablet.

I was looking at several cheaper third party keyboards - a few that had batteries built in - but I am glad I went with the Microsoft one (this one does not have a battery). Keys feel good while typing and it is definitely a quality product that provides a seamless, secure connection to the Pro 4.

As a college student I find that the type cover is a must buy. I used to use the Touch Cover for the Surface RT but since switching over I definitely love the feel of this one more. I also like the addition of the magnetic strip which sticks the keyboard at an angle and makes it more comfortable to type

This keyboard cover is great. Foolproof connectors on the bottom latch on with strong magnets, and they'll hold the weight of the Surface by themselves. It's frustrating that it costs an extra $130, and it really should be included with the Surface itself. Would recommend if you still have a SP3, as it will work with it, too. Trackpad is good, travel distance is good, trackpad rejection is good when typing, and the island keys feel nice and natural.

Unless you enjoy using the onscreen typepad, you need to get this cover/typepad. It connects easily to the Surface and protects the screen. The typing is just like a regular computer keyboard. It's much better than the Pro 3 typepad, but make sure you are using the right keyboard for your Surface.

The surface pro keyboard cover is almost a necessity to anyone looking for a 2in1 computer. Fits most cases too

Sure like how it fits on the machine. Nice and thin and does not add significant weight to an already heavy pad.

This item is a must have with the Surface Pro, this makes the surface a full functioning "lap top"

I definitely recommend the pro 4 cover even with the pro 3 computer. The extra key space is more comfortable.

It does what it's supposed to do and I haven't had any problems with the keyboard that's the keyboards fault.

I had a Surface Pro 3 and dropped it. When I purchased my Surface Pro 4 at Best Buy I was informed that the keyboard for the Pro 3 would not work with the Pro 4. So, I purchased the keyboard for the Pro 4. Initially I wanted a black one but they were out of stock so I got the teal. I actually like it!

The type cover for the surface is such a great compliment to the tablet itself. It is thin, and also has a non-slip grip to it so that you can place it on furniture without worrying about it slipping off. The color is also nice because it isn't too bright to where it is distracting, but not too dark to look like it has color. My only complaint about it is that the mouse pad could be a little easier to use. But overall great product!

The keyboard does what is expected. It's is well made and it's pretty easy to connect/disconnect.
